Atere Seals Giwa Deal

Former Kwara United captain Segun Atere has joined newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, side Giwa Football Club.
Giwa FC are among the four newly promoted sides that will campaign this season in Nigeria’s top flight.
Atere has been one of the best strikers Kwara United have produced for years, but it was a shock last season when he was dropped by current club gaffer, Samson Unuanel.
Atere was training with Giwa FC on Wednesday at the Kwara State Stadium before revealing his transfer deal with the Jos-based club.
“I’m happy to be here and I will try my best to help Giwa FC next season in the Premier League.
“This club is being sponsored by a man (Senator Chris Giwa) and it is a must for us to make him happy when the new season starts”, Atere told supersport.com in Ilorin.
Atere was also on bent knee, as he wants the League Management Company, LMC, to help him and his colleagues who are still being owed by Kwara United.
