Ambitious Eguma Vows Dolphins’ll Win League

Dolphins Chief Coach, Stanley Eguma appears ambitious to lead his team, Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt to win the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL title this season.
“We are working towards that and we know we are equal to the task. Remember we won the title in 2011 and we have set it as our target and we believe we can do it. We only want the fans to support us”, Eguma said.
“We are assuring them that this season, our target is the league title”. Eguma added that he has not waived his idea of focusing on youth and pace this season as he feels that is the way to go for Dolphins.
“We are still working on the young players that we have and we believe that by the time the League starts, they will begin to have the mentality of Premiership players.
“It is tough but we feel that with hard work on these young players we will eventually get it right”.
Meanwhile, Secretary of Dolphins, Ahmed Abdulrahman has promised that the fans will be happy again this season. After two poor seasons, the club managed to escape relegation on the last day, and Ahmed, who captained the team for 13 years before calling it quits in 2005, was full of smiles after watching a training session.
“I am happy with what I see and I believe these set of players can take the club where we want”, Abdularahman said.
