Alampasu Relishes Move To Estoril

Nigeria goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu has expressed gratitude to God for making his dream come true as he finally signed for Estoril Football Club of Portugal.
Alampasu, who told eyeonthesports.com in an earlier interview that his dream was to play in Europe, completed the deal before the January transfer window closed this week.
The former Abuja Football Academy goalkeeper shared his feelings and photo of his new club on the social media.
An elated Alampasu said: “Thank you God, it’s finally a done deal, I have signed for Estoril Football Club. I’m so grateful”.
The former Golden Eaglets number one goalie was part of Nigeria’s U-17 squad that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE in 2013.
Interestingly, Flying Eagles Coach, Manu Garba has told Alampasu that he would return to the Flying Eagles, the national U-20 team currently preparing for this year’s African Youth Championship, AYC slated for Senegal next month.
It would be recalled that Alampasu was voted the best goalkeeper of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE two years ago.
The goalkeeper was discovered by the Champions of Fire Football Club, a youth side sponsored by Prophet Abiola Adebisi of the Christ Miracle Church Mission, CMCM in Lagos.
