Alampasu, 34 Others For Flying Eagles Camp

Nigeria U17 World Cup-winning goalkeeper Dele Alampasu is among 35 players called up by coach Manu Garba for a 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier against Lesotho in August.
Alampasu was first invited by the national U20 team in April, but could not honour this call-up as he was away on trials in Belgium.
He was on the country’s squad to the CHAN in South Africa earlier this year and was voted the best goalkeeper at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates.
He suffered an injury at the trials in Belgium which effectively shut him out of the team’s home and away wins over Tanzania last month.
Other fresh call-ups are Sunshine striker Kingsley Eduwo, FC Taraba striker Bobby Abel, Segun Alebiosu from Kwara United and Obinna Nwobodo from Enugu Rangers.
Flying Eagles Scretary Aliyu Auwal disclosed that all invited players should report at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja by Sunday with their birth certificates and international passports.
Nigeria will tackle Lesotho to determine who qualifies for the 2015 AYC to be staged by Senegal in March.
Lesotho eliminated highly-fancied Angola in the second round of the qualifiers.
The first leg will be hosted by Nigeria on August 15 with the return leg two weeks later in Lesotho.
