ABS Renew Vigour, As Camp Opens For New Season

Reports reaching eyeonthesports.com say Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS Football Club of Ilorin will on Friday, 6 November, begin preparations for the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League, NNL season.
General Manager of the club, Alloy Chukwuemeka says the team have put the disappointment of the precious season behind them, and now ready to play their way back to the top flight.
Following the relegation of the club at the end of the 2012/2013 Premier League season, ABS will now campaign in the NNL, and have been grouped to compete in the Southern Division of the league.
Chukwuemeka, has therefore, directed that all coaches and players of the club, should resume at the team’s playing ground at Kwara Football Academy by 7am on Friday.
The club manager also told the players left with ABS to bring along with them training kits, as they will commence preparations immediately.
Chukwuemeka added that; “The immediate task at hand is to return the team to the elite league”. He however called on the fans, their supporters as well as the stakeholders to rally support for the team ahead of the new season.
He commended the Proprietor of the team, Senator (Dr) Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON), for keeping faith with his vision of using the team to empower and develop the Nigerian youths.
Meanwhile, the club have lost the services of notable players who have teamed up with some Premier League Clubs.
