Keshi Shuts Out Yobo, Names 23 Eagles Against Malawi

*The Eagles will return against Malawi in Calabar.

Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi may have finally dropped skipper Joseph Yobo from his Brazil 2014 World Cup ticket seeking squad, as he again excluded the Fenerbache star from the list of 23 players released to tackle Malawi in next month’s qualifier in Calabar.
Keshi, who earlier claimed that defender Yobo still has a strong role to play in Eagles’ defence, kept faith with the younger defenders he discovered during his rebuilding process. The Big Boss invited his regular six defenders; Elderson Echiejile, Ambrose Efe, Azubuike Egweuekwe, Solomon Kwanbe, James Okwuosa and Godfrey Oboabona, who recently moved from Nigeria Premier League Club, Sunshine Stars to Turkey.
Meanwhile, Vincent Enyeama leads the three goalkeepers that Keshi called up for the battle, as Austin Ejide and Chigozie Agbim staged a return to the team.

The defenders invited by Keshi were listed above, while John Mikel Obi heads the list of midfielders and attackers invited for the cracker.
The other players called up for the must win game are; Fegor Ogude; Sunday Mba; John Ogu; Victor Moses; Ogenyi Onazi; Nnamdi Oduamadi; Nosa Igiebor; Ahmed Musa; Brown Ideye; Shola Ameobi; Emmanuel Emenike; Obinna Nsofor and Uche Nwofor.
