Ogunbote Sure Sharks’ll Make CAF Tourney

Technical adviser of Sharks Football Club, Gbenga Ogunbote has appealed to the fans and supporters of the team to be patient with the team, assuring them that continental ticket is still within grasp.
Ogunbote who stated this after the 2-0 loss to Crown FC last Sunday in Ibadan, said they have learned from their mistakes and the necessary corrections have been made.
On the local derby against city neighbours Dolphins FC, Ogunbote pointed out that the game would be a tough one, but believes they have the potentials to win.
“I want to appeal to you all our fans to still have faith in the team. We’ve made lots of mistakes in the last couple of weeks but the important thing is for us to learn from them”. Ogunbote said.
“We intend to finish well this season, as well as acquire the continental ticket, and that is something that is still within our grasp”, Ogunbote said.
“Our game against our brothers, Dolphins FC, will certainly be a tough one, but we will cross that bridge when we get there”.
In the meantime, Ogubote has made some changes in the squad that played against Crown FC.
Notable absentees in the team that will face Dolphins is Ezekiel Michael, who is the most regular centre half back in the team, as well as, Fortune Omoniwari and Tayo Fabiyi who have both been dropped due to ill health.
Taking the place of the trio are Chiamaka Mada who just returned from injury while Obinna Amakor who once played for Dolphins and Daniel Agbogwu a former Free State Stars of South Africa are making the 18-man team for the first time this season.
