20 Killed As Suicide Bomber Hits Maiduguri Mosque

Reports reaching eyeonthenews.com say a Suicide bomber on Saturday, 30 May, 2015 sneaked into a Mosque along Ali Kotoko road, near Maiduguri Monday Market, leaving 26 dead while 28 others were critically injured.
This is the second attack coming barely 24 hours after the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari, who ordered the Army Command Centre to relocate to Maiduguri.
About four persons were killed when heavy explosions from Rocket Propelled launchers and grenade with sporadic gunfire rocked the city of Maiduguri, capital of Borno State capital early Saturday. Several other persons were injured and houses destroyed by the earlier blast.
Reliable security sources assisting in the evacuation of victims in the second attack, said the incident took place at about 3:45pm on Saturday, when Muslim faithfuls gathered performing their La,asar prayers.
Reports further revealed that apart from the Mosque explosion, another explosion rocked some area of the Monday Market with some casualties.
