Ream Madrid Set To Unveil €99m Bale At Bernabeu
Reports from Spain say Real Madrid are prepping the Bernabeu for Gareth Bale’s impending announcement on Saturday, 24 August, 2013.
Although nothing has been confirmed by either side, but Eye On The Spotrs gathered that preparations are under way in the Santiago Bernabéu directors’ box for the unveiling of Bale, which will be tomorrow. Although Real Madrid are yet to confirm a deal for the Wales international, the club do not want to leave anything to improvisation and already have their workers readying the stage, which is usually used for player presentations.
Restrictions on guided tours of the Bernabéu are also expected for tomorrow, and it would be recalled that Real Madrid have had Bale’s number 11 shirt ready for weeks. Bale is set to earn €10 million a year after tax at Real Madrid, making him the club’s biggest earner alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka, Spanish newspaper Marca revealed.
On Friday, the Madrid paper’s front pages announced that a €99 million deal to bring Bale from Tottenham had finally been completed. Inside, a report was headlined ‘Just needs a signature’ and claimed it was a “question of hours” before the Wales international put pen to paper on a six-year contract at the Bernabeu.
That deal will put him on more money than players including World Cup winners Sergio Ramos, Iker Casillas and Xabi Alonso, and established internationals such as Germany’s Mesut Ozil and France’s Karim Benzema.
