West Ham are in talks with Premier League champions Chelsea over the possibility of taking out-of-favour winger Victor Moses on a season-long loan with the possibility of a £6 million permanent deal.
With just a week of the transfer window remaining, West Ham’s new manager Slaven Bilic has identifies the Nigerian international as his prime target.
Moses spent the whole of last season on loan at Stoke City and scored four goals in 23 appearances for the Potters.
The arrival of Pedro from Barcelona has further pushed Moses down the pecking order in the Chelsea set-up and a loan move could be beneficial to all the parties involved.
West Ham got the season off to a flyer with a 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates but have followed that fine display with two straight defeats to Leicester City and Bournemouth.
