Nationwide League: Apex Boys Move Into Close Camping

As many fans await the kick-off of the Nigeria Nation-wide league season, Supreme Court Football Club of Abuja will from Sunday begin their quest to re-launch the team back to the National league when they zoom into Kaduna for a close camping programme.

Though the actual date for the league commencement was yet to be made public by the league manager, the Apex Boys as the capital-of-the-Nation club are known have been gearing up up for the task ahead.

Beginning with an open screening, the club now have an array of fresh legs that are battling to lay claim to the various permanent positions will take on no fewer than four clubs in a pre-season friendly contest while in Kaduna from next Monday.

Kaduna-based sides including Kaduna United, Boro FC and Jamba Academy will take turns to test the might of the Supreme Cour side.

General Manager of the club, Tolulope Oguntimehin who dropped the hint on Friday maintained that the management would leave no stone unturned in making sure that the team return to its pride of place in the Nation’s footballing architecture.

“We believe in making fans enjoy good style of football. And so, the quality of players which the coaching crew has gathered will get good results.

“We have already learnt our lessons from the previous happenings in the club. It’s time to move forward. We will not only show our worth in the league, we will also want to prove our mettle in the federation cup starting with FCT challenge.”

“At the moment, no fewer than new 25 players have teamed up with the club in addition to only four players retained from last season. The final collection of players will actually be unveiled before the league begins”.
