John Cena, Others Thrill At Smackdown

SmackDown was to say goodbye to 2013 on Friday, early Saturday, 28 December in Nigeria, Africa and other countries within the same time zone, but the visit of John Cena turned things the other way round.
Cena was not alone, there were also the three explosive Shield showdowns, the excruciating bite of The Viper and the continued scourge of The Wyatt Family.
As the last SmackDown of 2013 kicked off, 11-time WWE Champion John Cena discussed the excitement of rocking in the New Year with great enthusiasm.
Amongst the many resolutions Cena was considering for 2014, was winning Randy Orton’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Cena also said he was eager to have his guaranteed rematch from WWE TLC on SmackDown, but suddenly, ‘The Cenation’ leader called out The Viper!
That was how the stage turned into a big but rowdy show. Instead of The Face of WWE, The Shield emerged and engaged Cena in a vicious 3-on-1 assault.
It wasn’t long before Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston and Mark Henry joined the fray in Cena’s defense and helped to turn back The Hounds.
As the smoke cleared, Director of Operations Kane stepped into the mayhem, recognizing that the Superstars all needed to “work out their issues” before the New Year.
Accordingly, he decided to put The Shield into three separate singles matches: United States Champion Dean Ambrose to battle Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston, Roman Reigns to face Mark Henry and Seth Rollins to challenge John Cena. They are top fights of the superstars, and wrestling fans cannot wait to witness more shows as the New Year beckons.
