Goals Galore At Lagos Junior League

The Lagos Junior League, LJL, League One entered its 10th week with the players going goals crazy at various centres on Wednesday evening, as the teams got back to business after their two weeks holiday.
Agbado Oke Odo slumped to a 1-0 home defeat in the hands of Ikosi Isheri, but Ayobo Ipaja overcame Ifelodun FC 3-0.
First placed Ibeju Lekki were the rave of the midweek, as they cemented their hold on the top with a comprehensive 5-0 thrashing of Eti Osa, the latter’s 6th defeat of the season.
Goals from Akinsanya Adam and Wisdom Nwamodu ensured that Orile Agege and Shomolu shared points.
Orile Agege went ahead in the 39th minute and it took 45 minutes for Shomolu to find the elusive equalizer.
Also, Ojodu Fc crushed Bariga 4-2 after 90 minutes of top action and excitement at the Onikan Stadium.
Meanwhile, League One matches continue this weekend when Otto Awori host Egbe Idinmu, Lekki take on Ikoyi Obalende, Iba face Yaba while Ikorodu will try their luck against Agboyi Ketu.
In the LJL Premier League, Apapa demolished a hapless Lagos Mainland 5-0 in their rescheduled week 8 encounter at the LASU pitch on Wednesday.
Week 12 fixtures will however see League leaders Surulere Sport City FC take on Lagos Island East, title contenders; Ifako Ijaiye and Ojo Babes will clash at the LASU pitch on Saturday in what will be the match of the week.
Onigbongbo will face Lagos Mainland, while Eti Osa East and Agege Giants will tango in another must-watch encounter at Epe Stadium on Saturday.
