Four Docked For Carrying Live Ammunition

Four Men have been brought before an Ikeja Magistrate court, Lagos state, southeast Nigeria on a 3 count charge, bordering on Conspiracy, Unlawful Possession Of Fire Arms, having a Gun without a license, and Possession of 4 live cartridges ammunition, eyeonthenews.com reports.

According to the IPO, CPL. Bawa Ibrahim, the men; Ada Ojo, Male (54); Monday Eguaoje, Male (35); Abel Daniel, Male (39) and Williams Essin, Male (35), were on 17 June, 2015, at about 8:30pm, allegedly caught at Iyana-Ipaja bus stop, along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

The accused allegedly committed an offence punishable under section 409 of the criminal Laws of Lagos state. The Defendants pleaded not guilty, when the charges were read to them.

Meanwhile, the Chief Magistrate, Mrs.O.A Olayinka, granted the accused N100,000 bail, with sureties, that have paid two years of Taxes.
