Darey, Miss Vee, Others Light Up Aiteo/NFF Football Awards

Dare Art Alade, a Nigerian multi-platinum selling and award-winning musician and Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known by her stage name Miss Vee, a Ghanaian R&B artiste had excellent performances as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) holds the first Aiteo Football Awards in Lagos Monday night.

While Alade, known as Darey wowed the audience with his nice voice, Miss Vee thrilled the guests with her fantastic dance-steps.

Also, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, another Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer did a brief combo with Miss Vee before he personally performed at the event.

Tiwa Salvage and other musicians are right now performing at the event.

Meanwhile, Plateau United Chief Coach Kennedy Boboye emerged as Male Coach of the Year 2017 while Ann Chiejine, former Nigeria’s goalkeeper emerged as Female Coach of the Year under review.

Sikiru Olatunbosun of MFM FC won the Goal of 2017 Season while the other Awards are being presented.

In attendance at the Awards still holding at Eko Hotels are Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode and Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State.

Also in attendance are President of the Federation of International Football Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino, President of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Ahmad Ahmad, FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura, FIFA Council members Kwesi Nyantakyi of Ghana and Sonia Bien Aime from Turks and Caicos Islands.

Also at the Awards where top performers of the game were honoured, are Presidents of the Football Associations of Lesotho, Mauritius, Namibia, Somalia, South Sudan, Swaziland, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Turks and Caicos Islands, Denmark, FYR Macedonia, Lithuania, San Marino, Sweden and host country Nigeria.
