The ongoing 2014 South West Rugby League continues with Week 3 games, but the top battle between Cowrie RFC and Police Machine produced an interesting result last weekend.
The encounter ended 31-6 points in favour of Cowrie RF, as the Arsenal of the Police Machine were neutralized by the Cowrie boys, who fought viciously to retain their six years 15s unbeaten race in West Africa.
However, in the other games, Racing RFC retained a clean sheet by demolishing Eco II RFC by 70 points to 0, Lagos RFC lost to Gosar RFC by 5 points to 12, while Hawkster Athletes defeated Royal Stallions RFC by 24 points to 13.
Cowrie RFC now sit on top of the league table with 15 points, followed by Racing RFC with 13 points, while Eco II is at the bottom without a point.
Meanwhile, the South West League continues with its Week 4 games on 17 of May at the Mainbowl of the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
