21-Year Old Remanded In Prison For Alleged Stealing

An Ikeja Magistrate Court has Remanded a 21-year old Nigerian, Chimezie Osakwe, on a two-count charge after the Police arraigned him for alleged stealing, eyeonthenews.com reports.

The prosecutor, Mr.Benson Emueli, told the court that the defendant on 31 July, 2015, at Plot 12, Ladisa Crescent, Apple Estate in Amuwo Odofin, conspired to rob one Ikenna Ezirin and also stole from Nneji Anthony Chukwudi, on 28 July, 2015, at Block 6, Flat 5, Millennium Estate, Amuwo Odofin in Lagos.

Our reporter hinted that the defendant allegedly stole two Laptops; HP and Toshiba, one Ipad Phone, Blackberry and T-style Andriod Phone, a Wedding Ring, a Laptop Bag, and a Wallet, all value at about N310,000.

These properties, according to the prosecutor belong to Nneji Anthony.

Meanwhile, the Defendant pleaded not guilty, and the Chief Magistrate, Mrs O.A Olayinka, adjourned the case till 10 November, 2015.
